NCCA vs SCCA The 2003 Annual Raisinland Trophy Tournament between the Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA) and the Southern California Cricket Association (SCCA) will be held during the weekend of July 26th and July 27th, 2003. A banquet has been arranged on Saturday, July 26th, 7pm at the CIBO's Bar & Grill in Creek Side Inn, 3400 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA The Awards for the best performers will be presented by ex Indian Test Cricketer Mr. B.S. Chandrashekar. NCCA XI and the NCCA Youth XI are scheduled to play against SCCA XI and the SCCA Youth XI. The age limit for the Youth XI is 21 years and under. The NCCA XI versus SCCA XI game will be played at Spartan Cricket Club grounds in San Jose. The NCCA Youth XI versus the SCCA Youth XI game will be played at the Stanford A Cricket Club grounds in Morgan Hill. The games will be played as two independent 50-Overs a side one-day games. The ICC One Day International (ODI) rules shall apply (30-yard circle, on-side field placement restrictions, etc). For Raisinland Rules click here. The games will feature the best available talent from the NCCA and the SCCA. Teams include players that have played representative cricket both in the US and from countries like India, Pakistan and UK!. The matches are going to be very competitive with both sides being represented by youth and experience. So come out and cheer our NCCA Squads and let's bring back the Raisinland Trophy, where it belongs!. Watch and enjoy the competitive games - Best of all - it is in
