2007 NCCA - Annual General Body Meeting

1.       Call to order

All those present were asked to sign in.

2.       Reports of Officers

Laks Sampath , Anupam Singh, Ganesh Sanap & Krish Chellakarai read out the 2006 season Reports. The message was clear that NCCA needs more volunteers to come forward and help us out in the various activities throughout the season.

3.       NCCA Annual Banquet & Award Night report

Anupam Singh read out the 2006 Banquet Report. The Executives worked as a team and made the event a grand success. Owen Graham did a wonderful job of hosting the event.

4.       Approval of 2006 accounts

Treasurer Reji Verghese presented with the 2006 Income/Expense statement as well as put forward the 2007 Budget. He also answered a few questions on the same. NCCA will not be accepting 2007 Season Application Forms by the following teams unless all the fine monies are paid in full.

 

 

5.       Election of 2007 Board of Directors

The following Candidates were elected to the 2007-2008 Board of Directors for a 2 year term.

1.       Dan Sahadeo (Also elected as the Chairman of the BoD)

2.       Jamshed Syed

3.       Sriram Ramamurthy

4.       Zain Khan

5.       Mahendra Patel

6.       Sandeep Patel

The following Candidates were elected to the 2007 Board of Directors for a 1 year term.

7.       Rodney Bell

8.       Sarabjit Chadha

9.       Amit Sharma

10.   Ravi Vellanki

11.   Pasha Mohammad

6.       Election of 2007 Officers
The following were elected to the respective Executive positions unopposed for a 2 year term.


Vice President - Anupam Singh
Treasurer - Reji Verghese -
Match Secretary - Alan Weedy
Match Secretary - Krish Chellakarai

7.       Selection Committee Appointment by the Newly Elected Board

The Newly elected Board of Directors decided to announce the 2007-2008 Senior Team Selection Committee by February 4th, 2007.

8.       2007 Volunteer Committees

NCCA is still seeking volunteer help for the following committees. The newly elected BoD will announce these committees by February 4th, 2007. Expectations are that the BoD members serve as the Committee chairs for all the committees.

c.       Disciplinary

d.       Rules Committee

e.       Youth Development

f.         Tournament

g.       PR/Marketing

9.       New Team applications - 2007

The following new teams have requested to be included in the 2007 D-division

                                                               i.      Stanford-A-3 ( Winery Ground )

                                                             ii.      Stanford CC-3 (University Ground)

 

10.   Board approval of teams on probation

Tri-Valley CC & Valley Cricketers-2 were approved by the BoD to be taken off the probation list. DNA CC & San Mateo CC-3 teams remain on Probation.

11.   Report on Cricket at the National Level - USACA

USACA Regional Director Laks Sampath presented with the status of USACA affairs.
